Crofton Engineering are looking to strengthen our Workshop team with a Welder/Fabricator located at their workshop in Linton. If you have experience with structural steelwork fabrication and are looking for long term employment, then please email your CV.

Job Description

· Fabricate and manufacture structural steelwork.

· Fabricate and manufacture architectural metalwork.

· Perform quality checks.

· Grinding, welding, fabrication.

· Ability to read and work from detailed drawings.

· Able to work accurately and to a high standard.

· Manual Handling.

· Working as part of an established team.

· Operating workshop machinery when required.

· 39 hours per week with overtime available at time & half

Training Requirements

· Minimum 1 year’s post Apprenticeship experience.

· Counterbalance Forklift licence beneficial but not essential.

· Current driver’s licence and access to own transport due to site location.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £37,500.00-£41,500.00 per year

Crofton Engineering are looking to strengthen our Office team with a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator located at their office in Linton. If you have experience with structural steelwork fabrication and/or Architectural Metalwork and are looking for a long term career, then please email your CV.

Job Description

· Formulate and submit monthly valuations.

· Detailed pricing and substantiation of contract variations.

· Update Monthly forecast and actuals figures.

· Monitoring progress of projects and issuing of notices as required.

· Reviewing monthly payment notices and responding where required

· Attend client meetings to agree valuations/Final Accounts.

· Manual take-offs of structural steelwork.

· Calculating design, manufacture and site periods for costings.

· Produce detailed quotations for submission to clients.

· 42.5 hours per week

Training Requirements

· Minimum 5 year’s trade specific experience.

· Good knowledge of JCT & NEC Contracts.

· Current driver’s licence and access to own transport due to site location.
